A power cable is basically an electrical cable. An assembly of one or more electrical conductors, usually held together with an overall sheath. The assembly is generally useful for the distribution of electrical power. These cables are running overhead or exposed, which are usually used to convey a large volume of current that cannot be transmitted by wires.
